The Workspace in Composer Version 4 is the container for your forms and their environments. In earlier versions of Composer, work was classified into "Projects" and there were no higher level relationships and the administration and allocation of libraries — stylesheets, templates and other resources — was problematic.

 

Libraries are now integrated into the workspace and their allocation and sharing across projects are now dynamic and efficient. The implementation of compatibility with older versions, of patching and of service pack installation is much improved.

 

The User Interface of the Workspace is more efficient. For example, it does not have clusters of indecipherable icons, whose meaning and functions could only be discovered by hovering over each and waiting for the all-revealing tool tip to pop up to explain what actions were on offer.
