Hosting and Upgrading

While Avoka Technologies understands that many customers, for a variety of valid reasons, are reluctant to have Transact Composer hosted off site in the cloud, we still most strongly recommend that Composer reside in the cloud:

 

Why Host Composer in the Cloud

•Administration of the system is done for you

•Downtime is significantly reduced

•Major and minor upgrades to the server are carried out for you

•You get all upgrades as soon as possible

•Hosting in the cloud, paradoxically, is more secure than hosting Composer on premises.

•Typically, customer data is not exposed by Composer, which is a prototyping tool, not for production.

 

 

Hosting On-premises

Avoka Transact is a flexible solution and, though we advise against it, can most certainly be hosted on-premises.
